Inner City Teaching in Title 1 Schools - My Experiences

Inner City Teaching by a Public School Teacher l//In this video I wanted to share my experience teaching inner city students and inner city teaching in title 1 schools. Public school teaching in the inner city is vastly different from how it is displayed in inner city movies like the Dangerous Minds movie. I am passionate about being an inner city teaching in an urban area where although school violence is prevalent, but there is hope. I have worked in public schools all of my life. Although there are public school teachers quitting, there is another side of inner city teaching and public school teachers in America that is not always shown in an inner city schools documentary or inner city school movies. I hope this video gives you a better idea of one teacher's perspective of an important work and calling to meet the needs of English language learners in the inner city.
