MY GTI smokes like Snoop Dogg!! Time to rebuild the engine...

My Volkswagen GOLF GTI MK 2 smokes and runs badly so clearly still needs some engine TLC. I was only going to change the rocker cover gasket seal but things started to get out of hand. So in the end I decided to remove the engine block to investigate further. I hope by changing the head gasket and valve stem seals we can save this engine... This may turn out to be a bad idea??!
