A Cruise On The Douro River Portugal Pinhão DOC Restaurant & Wine Tasting
A fabulous day out on the Douro River in Northern Portugal. We drove from Porto to Pinhão to pick up our boat for a magical cruise down the Douro to Folgosa. Along with my wife, brother-in-law and family, lunch was at the Michelin DOC restaurant with amazing views across the Douro. After our return journey by boat, a short drive took us to Quinta do Vallado for a wine and port tasting treat.
Unexpected treat for me was a Steam train at Pinhão station, so that was duly captured as it passed by - Yowser! A Grand Day Out indeed!
