Ryobi rotary hoe expand it attachment tips with AEG 58V whipper snipper strimmer base.

This is my setup for using the Ryobi expand-it Rotary hoe attachment. The AEG 58V brushless base has a lot more grunt than the 36V ryobi system, and the standard dumbbell weights make the head dig in much more easily. They slide perfectly over the attachment.

To dig harder ground, remove some plates leaving only one or two, twisting the head as you work can make the corners dig deeper more easily.

The harness @$45ish from bunnings makes it much less work on the back.

I found the stick/rock guard just served to catch rocks and jam the machine up, after removing it it works much more smoothly and just flicks the rocks up for you to remove by hand.
