Today I’m sharing my traditional Afghan-style chicken fry, crispy outside, juicy inside, and not heavily spiced (so the chicken flavor shines 🤤).
And don’t skip the bread—Afghan food isn’t complete without it 🫓💛
(I’m using traditional Afghan bread + a quick homemade chili masala, recipes are in the description box.)
💚 Ingredients:
Chicken drumsticks : 2 kg
Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
Garlic: 8 cloves
Salt: 3 teaspoons
Black pepper / coriander seeds: 1 teaspoon each
Homemade chili masala : • Chili Masala | مرچ مصاله دار
Sumac or ghoreh angur (sour grape)
To Serve:
Traditional Afghan bread : • Naan Panjakash | نان پنجه کش
