In the interview he explains why the County Council decided to make the Old Fire Station in #hexham #northumberland an extended area for the waste disposal site rather than take up Sir Antony Gormley's offer to buy the site for his Foundation.
He also responds to the reason key sites like the old bus station and the old Robbs Building and the old workhouse sites are still not being developed and suggests there will be further investment in the town.
