This has to be one of the easiest styles of fly fishing for trout. Tenkara gives you the maximum control over your fly drifts and presentation in close range flyfishing.
When fishing small streams and creeks for wild trout, presenting at close range with delicacy and precision and maintaining a drag free drift can be difficult on conventional fly rods.
But with tenkara fishing rods it can take some of the intricacies out of the equation making it a good option for a transitioning fly angler or for an experienced angler looking to try something different or new.
