Best modelling balloons and pumps to use

Fairy Liquid shares her tried and tested modelling balloons and demonstrates the pumps she uses.

I've bought my balloons from him from the last ten years and really rate his service and speed of delivery! Highly recommended.
This is where I also bought my floor pump and hand pump.
Recently I bought some fablon and pimped my pump! The kids love my sweety design and are always fascinated by it.

Regarding pumps, just watch the video for the one I use.
I have seen electric pumps on the internet but as I am not a balloon decorator (or a full-on balloon artist - ballooning is just PART of my act) I have not invested in one. I am trying to keep down the consumption of goods to a minimum - once its useful life has ended, anything made of plastic is very difficult to recycle, so for now, it's not something I am planning on purchasing.

For the last decade I have used qualatex balloons - but have had some quality issues over the last couple of years (think they have changed their recipe to save money). So last month I tried Sempertex balloons for the first time - they remind me a lot of qualatex ten years ago, however it's 6 to 1 and half a dozen of the other - let me explain...

I like qualatex 260s because they are softer, therefore easier to pump up. As I am usually in a rush to make the balloons, they would be my choice if against the clock.
I like the traditional assortment and the entertainer assortment - they give a wide range of colours that children like and are useful for all the balloons you see on my channel.

Sempertex 260s are cheaper (a plus for me, lol) and more solid - they give a nicer finish and if you like crafting and precision - these would be a good choice. I also love their colour selection - the metallic assortments in particular. The good thing about their pearl metallic assortment is that girls love any colour from it, because even though you might only have blue left, it looks so pretty! Obviously I'm generalising about what girls and boys like, but by the law of averages, that's my experience!
