Ride the Ferrocarril Central Andino! Part 3: Inferillo bridge and more!

Part 3 of my journey aboard a northbound freight on the Ferrocarrill Central Andino. (FCCA), which runs from Lima to Huancayo, Peru. This segment takes us from where we left off just outside of San Mateo to just outside of Casapalanca. In addition to the many tunnels and amazing vistas we will pass through several highlights of the line. First off is the famous Puente Inferillo or Hell bridge, a short steel span passing through a tight canyon with high rock walls on either side. We will traverse the Cacray switchback and cross the Puente Anche, a similar steel structure. Unfortunately technical/human error led to me entirely missing the Chicla switchback so I have added in a few photos for this segment.
