Touring Tower One, the Tallest Building in the Heart of Nakuru City

Tower 1 is currently the tallest building in Nakuru city.
The tower hosts multiple offices for various brands and there’s still room for more businesses to set up their offices here.
Construction begun in 2013 and completed in 2016.
Since then, Tower 1 has been standing tall in the heart of the city and quickly became a major landmark.
The Tower can be seen from all corners as soon as one approaches the city.

Tower One is a 10-storey building with 3 basements. By the way, let me leave you some food for thought before we continue, do we include basement levels in the storey count? Think about that!
The building is located on Moi road, adjacent to Huduma center and next to Nakuru GPO. Other points of interest around it include the Nakuru Fire Station and Nyayo Gardens.
Office space here retails at 95 Shillings per square ft and the Tower is 73% occupied as of the time of recording.
Current businesses include Karen Hospital, NCBA Bank, Nation Media, Jubilee Insurance, Carlcare, FX Pesa Forex, Gilanis Distributors, SCANN NGO, just to mention.
Also worth mentioning is that the Tower is owned by Gilanis Supermarket Limited, which operates just 100m from the building.
What’s more? Tower 1 boasts a backup generator thanks to the solar panels on the roof, meaning residents enjoy uninterrupted power supply and folks can work and run services 24/7/365.
There’s modern fire equipment just in case of a related hazard.
Also noticed kitchenettes in some of the offices and that’s just a great addition for a grade A office building.
The washrooms were neat…
and I entered a ladies washroom by the way, probably my first time ever. I thought I was going to feel something special but it’s just a washroom, you know!
