Discussion of changes introduced in the DER interconnection standard IEEE 1547 - 2018 with respect to the original IEEE 1547 - 2003. As penetration levels of DER have increased, it is now desirable to have DER devices ride through certain grid disturbances to help support grid operation. IEEE 1547 - 2018 includes both voltage and frequency ride through requirements as well as functionality for both voltage and frequency regulation support. Recorded in Spring 2021.
