2025-2026 BSD Budget Message

Every year, the School Board adopts a budget that aligns the district's resources with the objectives outlined in the district's strategic plan. In the 2025-2026 year, the district is facing a $30 million budget deficit due to:

• Declining enrollment
• Projected structural deficit in current and future years
• Increase in PERS (employee retirement benefits)
