Opened in 2002 and expanded to the airport in 2007, the Copenhagen Metro is a 24/7 driverless system that has become a model for modern urban transit. Line M2 covers about 14 km with 16 stations, linking the city’s core with its waterfront districts and the airport in just under 25 minutes.
