From flying drones in the chaos of New York to a rural reset in Michigan—with some castle exploration, NBA Draft behind-the-scenes, and a surprise visit with my brother @TruckMaster—this video is a full journey through movement, family, creativity, and FPV flight.
We kick things off in NYC, where I was capturing content for the NBA Draft. It was absolutely non-stop, but I managed to catch one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen while wearing my FPV goggles… a hawk flying by, carrying a fish in its talons. It’s the kind of moment you can't plan—just pure magic.
After wrapping up in the city, we hit the road and headed for something way different: rural Michigan. That change of pace meant one thing—freedom to fly. No airspace restrictions, no distractions. Just trees, castles, bridges, and rivers. We pulled up to the Kirkwood Castle, built in 1878, and the whole area was a dream for drone exploration.
In this video, I attempt a real FPV power loop in the wild for the first time. I’ve done them in simulators before, but this was the first time I just went for it IRL. It didn’t come easy—it took a few tries—but the moment it clicked? Unreal.
I also got to link up with my brother TruckMaster (check out his massive truck mod channel), and we shared a super chill day just flying, laughing, filming, and catching up. Whether it was setting up a quick tripod with my $15 SmallRig Magic Arm or letting friends watch the live drone feed using the DJI Fly app—this day was one for the books.
Plus, yes… the beard bet is real. 10,000 likes and it’s coming off (but don’t tell my wife).
If you’re into FPV drones, DIY filmmaking, travel with a purpose, or just vibing with down-to-earth creators—this video’s for you.
