Farmland Bacon Injustice | What We Can Do to Fix This | I Can't Believe You Let This Out Your Door!

You lay out your bacon, careful to extract whole pieces from the package. You notice one piece is 1/16 of an inch, next ones an 1/8 the last one is 1/64" or about half the thickness of your big toenail, 3 standard playing cards, or 5 chewing gum wrappers for those of you who are still 'merican.
Way. Way too thin. And it only exists to meet minimum package weight requirements without going too far over. Because every bit that goes over is extra that you get for the same price and less that they get to charge someone else for. It's a lose lose for them. But if people get wise to their scheme, it could be a triple L for them and I dont want to see that happen to a good company, if they really are good... see by giving you these little translucent strips they are actually effectively shorting you on the product that you believe you are buying, but tucked underneath it all is a worthless little cheater. A lie. A Potemkin Village if you will, carried out in plain sight and practice and in which you are, with your continued purchase, an active citizen.
This is stealing because instead of giving you the correct amount of what they advertise, you are getting a worthless amount of something you didnt want. You know you don't want some flimsy ass little nothing in your pack. They know that too. But they do it anyway. Think of how clever that person must have felt who championed such a gross mistreatment of good ol American TRUTH. That statement alone is starting to feel more and more like a conjunction of opposites lately. How much money they saved, swindling you. Why clever? because its an obvious trick to fill a technicality. It's you the consumer who is the technicality. How dishonest that must have felt ... because every big succe$$ful idea always feels a little dishonest, at first.
They could invest in better/more people who can improve their machines. They could invest in better machines. They could eat the cost of chosing to run their business inefficiently and give you just a 🤏 more... Instead they cut corners on their product and pass the inefficiency right onto you via paper thin flimsy ass little bacon package fillers!
