Wanderings: Exploring Cyprus’ Akamas Peninsula – Shipwrecks, Blue Lagoon & Hidden Villages

Our first stop is the Edro III shipwreck, one of Cyprus’ most iconic coastal sights near Peyia. We then explore a lush banana plantation, a reminder of the island’s sunny agricultural charm. Next, hop aboard for a boat trip to the famous Blue Lagoon, where turquoise waters and swimming bliss await.

We end the day with a visit to the Bath of Aphrodite, steeped in myth and legend, followed by a stroll through the charming village of Polis Chrysochous and a delicious Cypriot lunch at Moustakallis Taverna — a local favourite for authentic flavours.
