The world painted cold and grey,

A little more hopeful happy ending fairytale,
I know it leaves you sad and humble
With nothing more positive to say,
I could buy you some rose colored glasses
And be as deceitful as a penny in a wishing well,
That won't do you much good in the very end
No more than all the lost pennies I've tossed in,
It's best to finish the ride with no compromise
At least you have a little honor when the last bell chimes,
Bust Hell wide open if it's the price to pay
To keep what little you've got from being stolen in vain,

A shadow looking for attention in the moonlight
How much more invisible could you be,
