A big SOVT (semi occluded vocal tract) vocal warm up with NO CHAT! | MusicForMy... VOICE

This video follows a fabulous suggestion from one of my lovely subscribers and as I am a massive chatter, was something I found very hard to do! But I completely understand that many of you love to get straight through the warm up without my distracting ramblings. This is a great one that unlike my previous SOVT video, uses a straw so make sure you grab one of those before you start. In this video we start as always by grounding ourselves and finding our breath, nice and low in our tummies before breathing in, holding and exhaling our breath for incremental counts. Our first SOVT is lovely lip bubble arpeggios which are then repeated to different vowel sounds. Next we stick out our tongues and do tongue trill arpeggios before getting out our straws for some five note scales. Then we do some melodic patterns, first of all to the pufferfish and secondly to and NGH hum. Our final SOVT exercise is interval slides to a THH sound before we round things off with some final breathing. Utterly fabulous!
