List of remnants and times are listed below. This video shows the railroad remnants left from the former Monon Railroad route through town. The line was abandoned in the late 1980s by CSX. Most the mainline was removed about 1992-1994. There is still mainline track on the north side of town where one customer (Monticello Farm Service) was recently serviced by CSX until they embargoed the line in March 2017 and where another customer was serviced until about 2005. The Elkhart and Western Railroad recently purchased all this track with plans to bring service back to the line. This was all filmed in 2018 with very few 2017 shots.
