Around The Great Outdoors, Titusville FL Greatest things to see and do in Brevard County

This is the Part 2 Video of The Great Outdoors. Here we want to show you all around Brevard County, commonly called The Space Coast, including area towns and restaurants and all the exciting activities that are in this area. Starting with Titusville, there is so much to offer. The new mall Titus Landing, is a great addition to the town. It features 30 store fronts, including several places for dining, specialty shops, Beall’s Department Store, and a professional Medical Center, along with a view across the Indian River of the Kennedy Space Center.
There are many really great restaurants in Titusville. To name a few, which we showcased in the video are Hoffman’s Table, Cruisers Frozen Yogurt, Cafe Paradiso, El Leoncitos Mexican, Salsas, and Shiloh’s. Additionally, there is Durango’s Steakhouse, Cracker Barrel, Dixie Crossroads, Third Culture Kitchen, Orleans Bistro, IHOP, Pier 220, River City Bar & Grill, Kelsey’s, Sonny’s BBQ, New York New York, Victorio’s Oyster Bar, Asian House, and many many more.
Titusville also has many hotels. When there is a shuttle launch, the hotels fill up quickly. They’re also at a premium during Bike Week and Spring Break.
Downtown Titusville is a fun place to explore. It is the historic heart of the city and is filled with numerous unique stores and restaurants. You may want to read up on the history of this old city which was founded in 1859. There was steady growth in the 1960s when the Space Boom brought population increases.

Of course one of the very important parts of the Titusville area is space promotion. Blue Origin, which was founded by Jeff Bezos is one of Americas most prolific giants of the industry. It is an American privately funded aerospace manufacturer and employs 100s of people.
And the Kennedy Space Center is a place everyone should visit, so much interesting history.

There is no beach in Titusville itself, however just a few miles away is beautiful Playalinda Beach on the Canaveral National Seashore, which is right on the Atlantic Ocean. It is 24 miles of undeveloped, protected shoreline. There are 13 beach areas, with #13 being clothing optional! This is a premier rocket launch viewing area, one of the closest unobstructed views you can have for a launch if you can get in. Also Jetty Park is a popular state park, also a great place for rocket watching.
We love to explore the area on our motorcycle. As seen in the video, there are numerous towns that draw attention from tourists from all over the world. Cocoa Beach is a popular spring break town. Port Canaveral, Melbourne, Cocoa, and Merritt Island all offer much to check out, along with great restaurants to try.

Millions of tourists visit Port Canaveral each year to climb aboard a cruise ship. This is one of the largest and busiest cruise ports in the world. Cruise companies such as Norwegian, MSC, Disney and Carnival are in and out of the port on almost a daily basis.
