DIY The Cutest Cream Puff Sheep - Easy Clay Tutorial

The original design for this was from a needle felt craft book but I decided to make it out of clay instead! I rated this Medium only if you're using air-dry clay (Modena/Hearty/Cosmos/Grace/FuwaFuwa) because you have to work quickly before it starts to harden. If you're using oven-bake polymer clay (Fimo/Sculpey) then it's a lot easier to correct mistakes.

One last tip for Modena clay, it dries slightly milky/translucent which makes the final colours appear darker and more saturated. I'm not a huge fan of this effect so I always mix a lot of titanium white into the clay to keep the colours soft and opaque. Do not mix acrylic paint into oven-bake clay because you obviously don't want to heat paint chemicals! If you use pre-made coloured polymer clay then you can skip the colour mixing step too.

I decided not to use music or talking because of the ASMR effect (autonomous sensory meridian response). Crinkly and crunchy noises are very relaxing to listen to and it's nice to switch off for a bit.
