Summer rec swimming is unique among youth sports in that kids 4-18 participate on the same team and compete at the same meets. But the magic occurs outside the pool. As kids enter their teens, they see the older kids and young coaches interacting positively with and being appreciated by the adults. At the same time, they realize the young ones are looking at them as role models. It's a great environment to grow up in.

It took three and a half years to make this film, interrupted by the pandemic.
