On this thrilling episode of The Subjective Space podcast, hostess Sindhu Rajasekaran talks to Rosie Walker about writing psychological thrillers - her inspirations and research, writing praxis, the genre, how she constructs her characters, builds narrative, and the like.
Rosie is the author of four novels: My Husband's Ex, Secrets of a Serial Killer, The House Fire, and The Baby Monitor. Her fifth psychological thriller, The Bride's Secret, comes out in June 2025. She gained a Masters in Creative Writing with distinction from the University of Edinburgh in 2011. She also has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Lancaster University. She lives in Edinburgh with her husband Kevin, their daughter Elsie and their dog Bella.
