After soaking up the charm of Goring-on-Thames, we set off down the River Thames toward Reading, where we make the big turn onto the Kennet and Avon Canal—despite plenty of boaters warning us not to!
With strong river flow and uncertain conditions, we face some nerve-racking moments, but we’re determined to find out for ourselves what this route is really like for continuous cruisers. And as luck would have it, our first mooring on the Kennet and Avon? Right outside a pub! 🍻
