Hi Guys! Still on our way to our final destination in Northern Maine!!!! This week we stayed in Connecticut for a long weekend. I chose Lake Compounce Campground because it had decent reviews online and the price was right. When we got there I realized that we were at a theme park! Not just any theme park, the oldest running theme park in the USA!

Lake Compounce offers a combination of nostalgic beauty with modern rides. It was clean and well maintained. I have to admit weekend parking had me flustered but I decided to park back in the campground and walk in which was much better. I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend here and would happily come back:).
