Using the Godox AD600 / Flashpoint XPLOR 600 for Beach Portraits.
Let's say you have a wedding or a client that insists on Beach Portraits at a less than great time of day. Enter off camera flash. Whether you use High Speed Synch or Stopping Down your aperture, it's easy to find a balance for the light. Yes, you can also use neutral density filters, but I would rather not... one more thing to carry, one more thing to set up, and.... let's be honest, weddings happen fast, every minute I'm fumbling with a filter is photos they couple won't get.
The Godox AD600 or Flashpoint XPLOR 600 (they're the same thing) is an amazing affordable piece of equipment that can help you balance light in exceptionally harsh conditions. There are many monolights on the market now, and they can all do this, I just prefer the Godox for it's low cost and high capacity battery.
