This is a TRIBUTE. When I was a teenager, Nu Metal was at its high. Limp Bizkit, Deftones, System of a Down, Korn, Papa Roach, Slipknot, the early Linkin Park albums - you name it, I probably liked it. And still do! So naturally, Limp Bizkit's "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog flavored Water" is one of my favorites. I must have listened to that album a million times by now. A truly great song, in my opinion, is always recognized by its ability to be transformed and interpreted into any kind of musical style, even if it's just one voice and just one instrument. With my version of this song I try to express what I feel is the essence of this song: it's rage, its strength, its empowerment and its "fuck them all"-mentality. That is what I feel, when I listen to this song - that's how I feel, when I sing it. Take it or leave it ;)
