In this video I sought out the location of the "real" Little Gem Mine, based on coordinates I found online and had saved as a waypoint on CalTopo. I also made a run out to the ol' stomping grounds of Lane Basin, then a quick summit up the backside of the rock climber playground known as "The Monolith". A great day of Fall hiking!
