Probably the skill test fight of the whole mod in any version. In general, its simple, deflect normal attacks and dodge side/backwards all the mortal blade ones (with exception the mark kanji attack). My personal way of timing the dodge is waiting for the kanji symbol to lose its glow. I dont know if its the best way but thats how I do it since this way i dont have to see what she s doing and just focus on the kanji. Only one to be careful is the normal Emma's AC which the kanji is kinda delayed. Below is my strategy:

Combat arts (ca): She input reads pretty much every major damage dealing ca. The best and most consistent to use to keep the fight and posture build up going is ww slash and praying strikes excorsism. In my opinion, praying strikes is hands down the best and most consistent. Only attack to watch out is the unlock camera move where she circles around, which in this case the optimal response is to stop your combo and deflect her attack however you can do this 1:21 (if you hit her you ll just get hit by her attack but she will get staggered). For 1st 3 phases you can full combo after every kanji, for phases 4,5 you can 100% after every 2 kanji or after specific MB attacks(see video) and for phase 6 you pray (sometimes the same windows work, sometimes they dont and she follows up with another attack).

Dodges/arena: Assuming you're using praying strikes, the best dodge is side dodge the last attack before using praying strikes. However make sure to dodge in the direction of the area I'm fighting in the video (like in 2:25). This is important since its the most clear area without obstacles and her AI doesnt break to mess the flow of the fight. Keep her out of tall flowers to be able to see her attacks better. Finally, if its not obvious already forward dodges dont work on the MB attacks but only for the Mark kanji attack.

Prosthetics: No prosthetics are essential. Use mist raven if you get caught in a bad spot and teleport behind her (important) and be ready for her next attack while you back off. For last phase like in the video you can shuriken her till yellow posture (12:05).

Her moveset is the same for phases 123, phases 45 and phase 6.
Moves to watch out for:
(5:29): Whenever she does this move expect a special move (kanji or one mind).
(5:53): 1st 5 phases always finishes triple attack into MB attack and for last phase you need to react if she cuts the combo short.
(4:02): Example of praying strikes stopping her next combo. Dont be scared if she deflects keep up the combo, you re faster than her.
(5:46): After ichimonji follow up is either MB attack or another ichimonji into a different normal attack combo. After MB attack you can CA up to phase 5. Also keep in mind that if you dont deflect the ichimonji you cant dodge.
(8:25): Long MB attack. Probably one of the hardest to time. Stay composed when she does that cause the timing is kinda delayed and dodge backwards or right side dodge (left side is not as forgiving).
(9:33): Whenever you re far away she will do the mark kanji attack.

Other than the these attacks, you need to be careful when she sheathes her blade and her 3 different stances she can get. Stances:
1. Low stance (6:00): From this stance she does whatever she pleases. MB attack, shoulder bump, cancel into high stance for one mind or mark kanji attack, whatever. Thats why you see me predeflecting sometimes for the shoulder bump and then immedietely moving backwards.
2. High stance (2:09): The one mind or mark kanji attack. For both you need to back off for the close slash to miss u and then dodge the mark or deflect the one mind (one mind is only 2 deflects).
3. Emma's normal AC stance: If you re close enough she will MB attack with a big delay. If you re kinda far away she might bait you with a kanji and then do another MB attack (just like vanilla AC but with MB attacks). If you re very far away she will cancel and do the mark kanji attack.

Tip for last phase: Focus on deflecting and dont get hit by the multiple MB attacks. Attacking is secondary if you used the shuriken strat to lower her HP.
