Why Fisker Motors is the Most HATED EV Company!
Welcome Back To Voltify,
When Henrik Fisker talks about his company’s plans for this year, like possibly sharing the platform for the new Fisker Ocean electric crossover with other automakers or unveiling the Fisker Ronin EV grand tourer, he tends to be circumspect. The design mogul turned EV startup founder seems reluctant to make the bombastic promises that have worked against other new automotive ventures. HENRIK FISKER IS leaving the automaker that bears his name. It's just the latest chapter in an endless drama that has unfolded over the past year and suggests that things inside Fisker Automotive could be more desperate than previously believed. The upstart automaker, which has sold nearly 2,000 ultra-luxe Karma plug-in hybrid sedans, has battled everything from production problems to car fires, and Fisker's sudden departure Wednesday comes as the company scrambles to secure a lifeline. Fisker told Automotive News his decision followed "several major disagreements" with the brass over the company's business strategy. It took Henry Ford three tries to start his own successful car company. Henrik Fisker is on his second try with his new company, Fisker Inc., and he’s feeling confident he won’t need a third. Like Ford, Fisker thinks he sees a hole in today’s market for a practical, affordable electric vehicle. The opportunity I see here is to come out with a high-volume, reasonably priced, good-looking, real [electric] SUV because I think there’s a real miss in the market in that segment. In this video, We are discussing Why Fisker Motors is the Most HATED EV Company!
