The Choctaw Pony: Untamed Tradition

The History of the Choctaw Pony started out back in 1830 with the forced removal of the Indian Nations. These horses walked side by side with the Choctaw People, and became a part of the culture and heritage of the Choctaw Nation.

The wild Choctaw Horses have survived many dangers, but are still roaming free in South-Eastern, Oklahoma under the care of Bryant Rickman.
