Part 6. DIY Internal Combustion Engine Made from Old Compressor - Carburetor from Pencil & Heatsink?

FNALLY!!! Here is part 6!!! I hope you guys like the carburetor! I thought about a lot of different carburetor designs before I landed on this one. All in all, I am pretty satisfied with it. The needle valve doesn't seem to work very well so I may need to find an alternative. I am so happy with how well I can get the engine to idle and run. I still haven't gotten it to run for a super long time because the spark plug fouls(I might have just a little to much oil in the gasoline :D ). Now on to part 7 which will be proper ignition! See you guys there! Also for those of you who watched every second of the video(you guys are awesome) and saw the clips of the glass carburetor, that is a video coming soon. I will probably be posting it after I finish this series. I hate breaking series up. We'll see how long it takes me to get part 7 out...

Why? Because it will be a challenge and I like a little challenge. The main constraints that I have put on this project are limited power tools. I will only use a battery drill, hacksaw, and other common hand tools and materials. Working with constraints are what real world engineers basically do and I find it challenging and fun working in this way. There are three reason for trying to do this with minimal tools: 1. so anyone, even someone in a third world country can replicate. 2. to show what you might be able to do in an apocalyptic situation. 3. creative thinking.
