Classic BMC cars - Austin, Morris, MG, Wolseley, Riley, Austin-Healey, Vanden Plas from 1950s-1960s

Here the cars of BMC (the British Motor Corporation) from the early 1950s through to the late 1960s/early 1970s BLMC/early BL years, make up this collection of 100 classic car photographs.
BMC was formed in 1952 and eventually became an umbrella organisation for car manufacturers & marques Austin, Morris, MG, Wolseley, Austin-Healey, Riley, Vanden Plas, & Princess, plus where applicable their commercial vehicle operations.
The cars featured in this collection of images were designed and/or on sale at BMC sales agents during this period, a few of the specific examples shown here may be slightly earlier or later than BMC's period of existence, but represent types that would have been seen in a BMC garage in the 1950s or 1960s. At the end of 1966, BMC became British Motor Holdings Limited, or BMH, merging again a couple of years later with Leyland Motors (lorry builder and owner of amongst other entities Standard-Triumph) to become British Leyland Motor Corporation, or BLMC for short (later BL/British Leyland). A few cars from the later BMH, BLMC & BL eras are included for completeness as their roots lay firmly in the earlier BMC period.
Popular types featured include the various Morris Oxfords and Austin Cambridges, the Morris Minor in various guises, MGBs, Wolseley Hornet, Austin A30/A35/A40 Farina, Riley 4/72 (and the other big Farinas), Mk1 & Mk2 Minis and many more that, combined, give an indication of the sheer scale and sprawling model ranges that BMC had on offer during its lifetime.
