This is a rare VHS copy of the 1989 made for TV movie "Back Home". Set during World War II, young Virginia "Rusty" Dickinson (Hayley Carr) was sent to America for her safety. It's now five years later and the spunky 12-year-old redhead returns to her native England. It tells the story of her reuniting with the family she hardly remembers and being sent off to boarding school, as she has to adapt to a whole new way of life. Based on the children's historical novel "Back Home" by Michelle Magorian published in 1984. The movie also stars Hayley Mills as the mom Mrs. Peggy Dickinson.
This video was spliced together from the 10-parts of this movie at bigdrocks2 YouTube posting from 2011 with some VHS distortion cropped off at the bottom of the frame. Hopefully people will enjoy having the 10 parts assembled into a single movie.
