Frankfurt U-Bahn cab ride (Line U3 ~ Südbahnhof to Oberursel-Hohemark) ~ Train Simulator

The Frankfurt U-Bahn is yet another route that runs much better on my new computer, so I thought I'd record another couple of cab-ride videos on this fascinating system. This time we're going for a drive up the Frankfurt U-Bahn's longest line, using the Flexity Swift U5 train again.

Line U3 is 19.4 kilometres long with 28 stations. It's unique in many ways, such as the gradients being as steep as 1 in 17 and the line actually going down to single-track past Kupferhammer. North of Niederursel the distances between stations is often much longer than usual, with the line sometimes running through a pretty rural environment (quite unusual for a light-rail route).
