Each day, from 01 November - 11 November 2025, OPERATION REMEMBRANCE will release a short educational video created by students from participating schools across Canada.
Students from BASISSCHOOL ERVE HOOYERINCK Elementary School. City of Delden (NL) will commemorate their liberation and honour the Sacrifices made by so many Canadian soldiers. The Holten Canadian War Cemetery contains graves for over 1,350 Canadian war dead - having died in the final stages of World War II in the Netherlands and during the advance into Germany. Headstone: Pte Ralph Piercy. Age: 17. Died: April 1945. Black Watch (RHR) of Canada.
