Cultural Performers Night is a curated showcase, created to provide quality performances and entertainment to the 626 Night Market. CPN aims to highlight different cultures and backgrounds, with its mission to open up a space for diverse organizations and performers!

Grupo Folklórico Luna y Sol (GFLS) of San José State University is dedicated to promoting, preserving, and celebrating Mexican culture through the art of traditional dance. As cultural ambassadors, the group fosters a sense of community and cultural pride both on campus and throughout the greater San José area, using folklórico as a tool for education and connection.

In this performance, GFLS will be presenting a vibrant suite of dances from the state of Sinaloa, known for its energetic footwork, colorful costumes, and dynamic rhythms. These dances reflect the coastal region’s festive spirit and are often performed to lively banda music, capturing the joyful essence of Sinaloan tradition.
