We fight some more battles against France, and encounter more of their ships. Some of them are pretty good, in particular their heavy cruisers and some of their destroyers.
Others, like their battleships, are... very French.
That said, if we thought the British army was a thorn in our sides, the French land forces are in a whole different league, and if we don't hurry up with winning this war, they might consume most of our Mediterranean coastline.
