'Dentist Sketch' Les Dawson 1971

Students of comedy will note the strong similarity between this sketch and the better-known version performed some years later in the mid-Seventies on the Carol Burnett Show by Tim Conway and Harvey Korman. Clearly the source material for both sketches is the same, in particularly with regards to physical 'business'. Les Dawson himself was responsible for much of the material on his own shows so this sketch may well be his own creation, though it is likely to be the work of other writers, or even have an earlier provenance. Alas, there are no writers credited on this edition of the show, though Peter Dulay credited as 'Script Associate'.
