Mitchell's Plain is on the Cape Flats, a vast expanse of flat land about 25 kilometers from Cape Town. It is one of South Africa's largest townships, located on the False Bay coast, between Muizenberg and Khayelisha.
Mitchell's Plain was created in 1970 to alleviate the housing shortage in Cape Town. Join me as I drive through part of Micthell's Plain.
