First versett canonically elaborates on the Pentecost hymn “Veni creator” in form of two duos; quoting then the first line in the tenor voice entirely. The immediately following versett combines the two lines “Mentes…” & “Implena…” overlapping while being joined by a third soggetto used in moto recto & inverso.
Recorded in the church of st. John the baptist in Úterý, Czechia. Unknown organ maker, around 1720.
