We added a cleanout to the main PVC drain line of this old house so that we could use a sewer camera to inspect the sewer line to the street. There was no convenient access point in the basemnt where the main sewer drain was located before it exited the house. We decided to add a sewer drain "y" or WYE and cleanout to enable easy access for sewer inspection with a sewer camera..
We used Oatey 32192 Fusion One-Step Medium-Bodied Cement, 10 oz, PVC Clear
