North Carolina's football second home game on Saturday, September 13, against Richmond marked its third annual Champion Sustainability Game.
Made possible by Hanesbrands' $1 million foundational gift to the university to advance sustainability. This year's Champion Sustainability Game highlighted safe, efficient transportation, in partnership with Chapel Hill Transit and UNC Transportation and Parking.
Chancellor Lee Roberts, Mayor Jess Anderson and Chief Sustainability Officer Mike Piehler joined the halftime radio show. Full audio from the halftime show can be found on goheels.com.
