Leora Ellen Comis, a senior staff occupational
therapist in the Occupational Therapy section
of the NIH Clinical Center will lead this webinar
with an important focus on OT interventions
that can improve the quality of life for GVHD
patients. Sarah Henke, Clinical Research Dietitian
of the NIH Clinical Center will review key
nutrition factors that are important in GVHD and
transplant patients. Jennifer Gillette, LMSW, of
the nbmtLINK, will host our program and present
on the emotional toll of GVHD, advice to better
handle it and best tips from patients dealing
with GVHD as a part of her presentation. There
will be plenty of time for questions and answers
following the presentation.
