Riding my Strada velomobile from Oxshott to Hampton Court en route to Hillingdon. Interesting to see comparison between velomobile and roadies. I was similar average pace as a pair of roadies between Oxshott and Esher and with another rider between Esher and Hampton Court. I was faster on downhill and did well on the flat and OK on short uphills but was slower on long uphills and when accelerating from slow speed. My Strada weighs about 32Kg and is 100% human powered but is quite streamlined so higher top speed.
