Lots of changes are coming this Indiana winter inside the old schoolhouse we’ve been renovating for years!

King of Christmas sent over a giant tree and wreaths—and the kids help with the very enthusiastic unboxing.

We make string tinsel from old NYC curtains and kid-approved pom-pom garland for our big new tree.

We recreate vintage reindeer once used to decorate the school, plus add new wreaths to the towering windows.

Cutting, painting, sanding, and turning a broken template into a full magical herd—including Rudolph.

Over the last year, the schoolhouse has been receiving the most unexpected treasures from strangers and neighbors.

A simple Etsy purchase leads to a friendship with an 18-year-old antiques aficionado from Slovenia.
