Rakesh Tikait on UGC: UGC एक्ट 2026 पर राकेश टिकैत का बड़ा हमला.

किसान नेता राकेश टिकैत ने विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग यानी UGC एक्ट 2026 को लेकर बड़ा बयान दिया है.
उन्होंने कहा है कि इस एक्ट से देश में जातिगत तनाव और झगड़े बढ़ सकते हैं. टिकैत का आरोप है कि सरकार चाहती है कि देश जातिवाद, धर्मवाद और मुकदमों में बंटा रहे. राकेश टिकैत का कहना है कि इस कानून का असर आने वाले समय में दिखाई देगा, लेकिन ऐसे कदम समाज में जातिगत दुश्मनी को बढ़ावा देते हैं. उन्होंने साफ कहा कि इस तरह के फैसले देश की एकता के लिए ठीक नहीं हैं.बता दें कि यूजीसी ने नए नियम 15 जनवरी 2026 से लागू कर दिए हैं. इनका उद्देश्य उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों में जातिगत भेदभाव रोकना और सभी वर्गों को समान अवसर देना बताया जा रहा है. नए रेगुलेशन के तहत अब एससी, एसटी और ओबीसी वर्ग के छात्र, शिक्षक और कर्मचारी अपने साथ होने वाले जातिगत भेदभाव या उत्पीड़न की शिकायत सक्षम प्राधिकारी के पास दर्ज करा सकेंगे. इसके साथ ही हर संस्थान में समान अवसर प्रकोष्ठ बनाना अनिवार्य होगा. हालांकि, नियम लागू होते ही देशभर में अगड़ी जातियों से जुड़े संगठनों ने इसका विरोध शुरू कर दिया है. उत्तर प्रदेश के शिक्षण संस्थानों में भी यह नियम लागू हो चुका है. इसे अकादमिक सुधार बताया जा रहा है, लेकिन इसे लेकर राजनीतिक और सामाजिक बहस तेज हो गई है.

Under the new rules, SC, ST, and OBC students, teachers, and staff can file complaints related to caste-based discrimination. Institutions are also required to form Equal Opportunity Cells and Equality Committees.Since its implementation, the regulation has triggered protests and debates across the country, including political reactions from leaders like Rakesh Tikait.
