Winter plans & motivation for 2024 events

Winter has begun, and I am sure many others like myself are looking out the window at the dark, cold skies and wet roads struggling to find the motivation to head outside.
Over the years I have often struggled with this time of year, but experience has taught me not to worry. If you are not motivated to ride outside, there is no need to stress or worry.
I've gone through my tips, and what I am doing to stay motivated for 2024, and the event and challenge goals I have put in place.
The mountain bike race mentioned is Iron Bike (ironbike.it). It is THE hardest bike stage race in the World. I have taken part 3 times, in 2011, 2012 and 2013. I'll be back in 2025 when I hope it will be back running again. If you are looking for an epic challenge, you can't beat it.
