Technical Difficulties, Camera stopped recording when I plugged in cockpit audio. I must have somehow disrupted the power.
1. Request airtaxi to the Skids
2. Request left closed traffic to the Skids
3. Running Landing
4. Straight-in autorotations. Main takeaways from today:
a. Look outside at horizon on entry to maintain pitch attitude. Try to look at horizon and feel changes in pitch attitude. Keep horizon and landing spot in scan.
b. When making corrections, if lower the collective, the nose is going to drop, so need a corresponding pull back on cyclic. If raise collective, the nose is going up, so need a corresponding push forward on the cyclic.
c. I have a tendency to pull back on the cyclic before the actual height to start the flare. This loses airspeed and raised rotor RPM. Then when I get to the flare the RPM starts to spike. Or I raise the collective to stop the RPM build. Instead, don't start pulling back on the cyclic until it's time to flare.
5. Request airtaxi to Helico ramp.
