This is part 4 of a 4 part series in which I attempt to walk you through the repair and modification process on this 1974 Fender Silverface Twin Reverb Tube Amplifier. This series is best suited for someone who is just beginning their journey into tube amp repair.
In this video, I will cover/modify the following:
-Attempt to explain how the push pull Master Volume/Boost control works
-Attempt to explain how Negative Feedback works
-Remove Master Volume pot
-Convert Master Volume into a Negative Feedback control
-Attempt to explain how a Potentiometer works
-Ran the amp through an Oscilloscope
